Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is a central university located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. CURAJ has 12 schools, 32 academic departments and one community college covering technology, science, humanities, commerce, management, public policy, and social science programs with a strong emphasis on scientific, technological and social education as well as research. CURAJ offers academic and research programmes in technology, science, humanities, commerce, management, public policy, and social sciences. This includes five year integrated M.Sc. programmes in various fields, leading to the degree of B.Sc. and M.Sc.


The Central University of Rajasthan - Admission Portal - 2024 is being introduced for admission into all UG/PG/PhD Programmes in Central University of Rajasthan for academic session 2024-25. The Admission Portal will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates.

CURAJ has started receiving applications for the Ph.D. programme in 28 departments for the session 2024-25. The admission in PhD programme 2024-25 in the first round will be for the Category-1 and Category-2 as per the UGC public notice No.F.4-1(UGC-NET Review Committee)/ 2024(NET)/140648, dated March 27, 2024 as give below:

Category-1: The candidates who have qualified for fellowship/scholarship in any national level examinations like CSIR-UGC-JRF/ICMR-JRF/, ICAR-JRF, and DBT-JRF etc.

Category-2: The candidates who have qualified any national level examinations like CSIR-UGCNET, GATE/GPAT (for engineering/architecture/pharmacy streams), etc. and similar National level tests, sponsored candidates, teacher fellowship holders and teachers of Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ). The candidates under this category must have the National level qualified examination certificate issued on or after dated May 01, 2023.
